The Client
Textbooks.com are an online textbook retailer who cater to their target audience of college (University) students by offering affordable prices and a friendly, playful brand voice.

The Task
They required a sales email that would drive customers to the page on their site where their textbook buy-back scheme is advertised. The key challenge was to capture the interest of busy students who are likely to ignore an email if they don't immediately see a benefit for themselves.

The Solution
My copy has a lighthearted, fun and personable tone which will resonate with the target audience (students) and entice them to keep reading. The benefits (quick cash to spend on things they enjoy) are highlighted early and the steps involved are explained simply and clearly, making the action we want them to take feel low effort and high reward.
