The Client
CB Pet Products is an e-commerce site selling high quality yet affordable products and accessories for cats and dogs. The customers are likely to be people who are conscious of buying from small businesses rather than major retailers such as Amazon and Ebay.
The Task
The site needed an About Us page and benefit-led product descriptions to convince potential customers to purchase. Since this is a new company, the copy needed to inspire confidence and trust in the products and brand.
The Solution
Four key benefits are picked out and emboldened so they are very clear to the reader. The feature of the product that relates to this benefit is then detailed in simple and direct language. The brand voice across al the copy is casual and understated yet knowledgeable, so this needed to come across in the product descriptions.
